Frank and Irene Sobey initially assembled this display of the 19th and 20th century Canadian art for their personal enjoyment. The collection is now elegantly displayed in Crombie House, the former home of F.H. Sobey, located just outside of Stellarton, Nova Scotia.

We hope you will enjoy the paintings and the intimate scale in which they are presented.

The Collection includes work by Cornelius Krieghoff, by the Group of Seven and other Canadian and Nova Scotian artists, and offers a diversity of style, subject and interpretation.

We hope you will enjoy this celebration of the creative spirit of Canadian artists.
